Important notes​

1. Your Synology NAS may not notify you of this DSM update because of the following reasons. If you want to update your DSM to this version now, please click here to update it manually.
   • Your DSM is working fine without having to update. The system evaluates service statuses and system settings to determine whether it needs to update to this version.
2. Depending on your Synology NAS model, this update will restart the device.

What’s New​

1. When users select Outlook as the system notification service provider, they will need to sign in with OAuth 2.0, which is a safer authentication method. Previously configured Outlook accounts will be migrated to "Custom SMTP server". We strongly recommend re-configuring the settings for authentication to ensure your Outlook account security.

Fixed Issues​

1. Fixed an issue where performing file system checks on ext4 volumes would stop the quota settings on DSM from functioning.
2. Fixed an issue where after HDD migration, users couldn't properly mount the SSD caches that weren't migrated to the new device.
3. Fixed an issue where Universal Search couldn't find the data in shared folders on volumes that were created on DSM 7.1.1.
4. Fixed an issue where users couldn't access DSM from certain devices.
5. Fixed an issue where users couldn't access DSM via the Bonjour service.
6. Fixed an issue where the E10G18-T1 network card couldn't be detected on the passive server when creating a Synology High Availability cluster with RC18015xs+.
7. Fixed an issue where models with the AMD Ryzen V1000 CPU platform couldn't adjust the fan speed automatically after a system reboot.
8. Fixed multiple security vulnerabilities regarding Out-of-Band (OOB). (Synology-SA-22:17)

1. Ihr Synology NAS benachrichtigt Sie möglicherweise aus den folgenden Gründen nicht über dieses DSM-Update. Wenn Sie Ihr DSM jetzt auf diese Version aktualisieren möchten, klicken Sie bitte hier , um es manuell zu aktualisieren.
   • Ihr DSM funktioniert einwandfrei, ohne dass ein Update erforderlich ist. Das System wertet Dienststatus und Systemeinstellungen aus, um festzustellen, ob es auf diese Version aktualisieren muss.
2. Abhängig von Ihrem Synology NAS-Modell wird dieses Update das Gerät neu starten.

Was gibt's Neues​

1. Wenn Benutzer Outlook als Systembenachrichtigungsdienstanbieter auswählen, müssen sie sich mit OAuth 2.0 anmelden, was eine sicherere Authentifizierungsmethode ist. Zuvor konfigurierte Outlook-Konten werden auf "Benutzerdefinierter SMTP-Server" migriert. Wir empfehlen dringend, die Einstellungen für die Authentifizierung neu zu konfigurieren, um die Sicherheit Ihres Outlook-Kontos zu gewährleisten.

Behobene Probleme​

1. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem das Durchführen von Dateisystemprüfungen auf ext4-Volumes dazu führte, dass die Kontingenteinstellungen in DSM nicht mehr funktionierten.
2. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem Benutzer nach der HDD-Migration die SSD-Caches, die nicht auf das neue Gerät migriert wurden, nicht ordnungsgemäß mounten konnten.
3. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem Universal Search die Daten in freigegebenen Ordnern auf Volumes, die mit DSM 7.1.1 erstellt wurden, nicht finden konnte.
4. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem Benutzer von bestimmten Geräten aus nicht auf DSM zugreifen konnten.
5. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem Benutzer nicht über den Bonjour-Dienst auf DSM zugreifen konnten.
6. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem die Netzwerkkarte E10G18-T1 auf dem passiven Server nicht erkannt werden konnte, wenn ein Synology High Availability-Cluster mit RC18015xs+ erstellt wurde.
7. Es wurde ein Problem behoben, bei dem Modelle mit der AMD Ryzen V1000 CPU-Plattform die Lüftergeschwindigkeit nach einem Systemneustart nicht automatisch anpassen konnten.
8. Mehrere Sicherheitslücken in Bezug auf Out-of-Band (OOB) wurden behoben. ( Synology-SA-22:17 )
